I have worked with many different children including some with special needs. For the prior two summers I have volunteered at a camp in Ohio. This camp is a week long over-night camp for children with special needs. It gives these children a once in a life time experiences, by pairing each child with a caregiver. That's how I realized I had a real passion for working with kids, especially children with special needs. In 2013 I participated in iCan Bike a program teaching children with severe learning disabilities how to ride bikes. I thrived in this environment, and learned even more about my love for children. I have also spent time working with children having trouble completing school work, and participated in a program which helped elementary students learn how to read. I love children, and plan to graduate with my Early Childhood Education Degree and Special needs certification in less then three years. Once I complete my degree I hope to work with K-3rd students, and students with special needs. Working with kids is my passion and I thrive by pushing them to be the best they can be, and also love to have fun!
