I have been working with children with developmental delays for about four years. I was a nanny for a year and a half. I have family members with developmental delays, as well as mental and physical handicaps. I have been in nursing school for the past two years and I will be graduating in August. I have been working with children and people for a long time because it is what fills my life with joy. I love to have fun and create new opportunities for children to learn and positively reinforce great behaviors and skills. I enjoy playing games, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, providing sensory (for those who need it), and staying away from the television. While I love to have fun, I understand the importance of doing work and building skill sets that are individualized to each child.
