I have over 10 years of child care experience in both mental health and educational settings. Over the course of my career, I have worked as a nanny, a daycare provider, a community psychiatric support specialist for a mental health agency, a substitute teacher, and an ESL teacher and private tutor. Additionally, I completed a yearlong internship as a school counselor. In 2009, I received my BS degree majoring in Psychology and History and in 2012 I received my Masters of Science in Education (MSEd) from Youngstown State University, in Youngstown, Ohio. In addition to my vast experience and education I have a passion and love for 1-on-1 care for those with special needs. I have worked with children with a variety of disorders such as autism, ODD, and ADHD. In a fun and collaborative way, my clients worked to improve on academic, personal, and emotional skills as well as activities of daily living. This was one of my most beloved positions in my career and I look forward to continued work with individuals touched with similar disabilities.
