Years of experience as a special needs caregiver (since 2004), combined with extensive education and training have only strengthen something I knew in my heart long before school or work... special needs just means special people! Growing up in a family where everyone had special needs, the care plans, doctors, therapists, medical equipment and medicine were the normal mode of operation. I have a comfort level with special needs situations and have empowered myself with a degree in Public Health-BS, CNA and EMT certifications as well as a degree in Early Childhood Development- Associates, as well as 12 years of experience in pediatric urgent care triage. I love them and I do my very best to care for their needs, on good days and bad with the kind of unconditional love, acceptance, respect and attention everyone deserves. I wear my heart on my sleeve and love in a big way. As a mommy of two babies, I am seeking a non-traditional work schedule which would allow me to be home with my little ones during the day and work overnight. Thank you!
