Hello! I am reliable, laid back, creative, and understanding. I have 6 years of professional experience with adults and children with special needs including working in therapeutic recreation, case-managing, developing individual program/behavior plans, and attending to daily care routines. I believe in supporting people with special needs in a way that they can be as independent as possible while still being safe. My older brother has autism as well, which has broadened my understanding of disabilities as a whole as well as how it can play into family dynamics. I am also willing to transport to/from activities, organize/clean, care for pets, and help with homework. Currently, I am a case manager at Misericordia, my last day being March 2nd. Allisen was great! She helped us through a very difficult time. Both me and my husband work from home due to the pandemic and when school started virtually we thought we would have to take some time off of work in order to make sure the kids stayed on track, or the kids would have a rough start at school. We hired Allisen to keep three of our kids on track throughout the school day with their very different schedules as well as manage their meals and breaks. She was so awesome. She not only kept them on track but she made everything so fun for them too. We can't thank her enough!
