About Alix

Hello! My name is Alix. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and have been around them my whole life. At a young age, I started watching families with multiple kids and have enjoyed it ever since. I have experience watching children of all ages. I have volunteered in a church child care center for years where I was in charge of watching 5-12 children at a time. I recently moved to from Boise, Idaho where I was studying Elementary Education at Boise State University. The courses that I've taken have contributed to my understanding of the cognitive, emotional and physical needs of children. Throughout my educational career, I've observed classrooms of various age groups, where I was able to organize and implement lesson plans to the fit the needs of the children I was working with. These observations have allowed me to practice supervising and connecting with children of various ages. My patience, energetic personality and positive attitude allow me to interact well with children. I enjoy spending time outdoors and planning fun activities for children that allow them to enjoy themselves and learn new things. I was a very active child and so I have patience and understanding for children who are always on the move. I look forward to helping a local family in need! I can provide references upon request.
