I am a healthy, active, and adventurous 61-year-old mother of six, and grandmother of 11. I am curious and creative, which means I love to learn and I love to play! One of my greatest passions is helping kids develop a love for learning through engaging with nature. I enjoy cooking and running a home, and I think structure, routine, and flexibility are all equally important in creating an environment where children can thrive and learn age appropriate responsibilities. Having raised six children of my own, I have dealt with many emergency situations, and I can be relied upon to remain calm, cool, and collected under pressure. I see parenting as a stewardship; parents are accountable to God, to help the children He has placed in their care become all He has called them to be. And, I see my role and responsibility, whether as grandmother, nanny, or childcare provider, is to support them as the loving authorities who represent Him.
