I am a grandmother type that is semi retired. I retired from the Air Force 10 years ago as nurse. For the past 6 years, I have cared for a Dementia patient and her dog in her home. She is now going into a nursing home for in Memory Care. I also care for a blind lady. I do all her grocery shopping and fix meals for the week. I am available most days or evenings to care for your parents, run errands, walk the dog or take someone to appointments or to just sit and talk to them. I love playing board games or cards or helping with jigsaw puzzles. When the weather is nice, if they are able I love getting them outside to walk or just sit and enjoy nature. I took care of my father for 4 years, who died from Alzheimer I absolutely loved it. I am used to their different moods. I am very trustworthy and love what I do. I am a great cook and very creative with ideas for Alzheimer's or dementia patients activities. I have several references.
