I put my first steps as a babysitter very early helping out mostly my family and friends. However, I got most of my professional experience coming to the States and working as a live in nanny for two different families. I spent one year in Boston taking care of two girls ages 6 and 9 years old. Then I moved to Los Angeles to a family with 5 and 8-year-old girls. In both cases I provided full childcare as well as pet care. My responsibilities included but were not limited to getting the girls ready in the morning and driving to school, picking up and taking to various extra curricular activities, helping with homework, bedtime routine and organizing free time. One of my girls was diagnosed with dyslexia and Auditory Processing Disorder and so I can definitely say I know what helping a kid with learning disabilities and encouraging to do any homework means. I've been nannying/babysitting A LOT ever since I finished the program. It's been over 5 years. Have lots of experience with babies.
