I needed transportation to a medical appointment the total time to and from the Doctor's appointment was 1 hour there and 1 hour back and an hour and half at the appointment. When Adonna responded to my post her rate was $20.00 I agreed to pay her for a full 8 hours at her posted rate of $20.00 which I thought I was being very generous. She asked if she could call me back, I said yes. She called me back asking for more money, said her rate is really $30.00 which she changed after our conversation. I was very upset. The caregivers have their rates posted; you don't expect a caregiver to increase their rates after you made contact with them. This is not helping a senior this is taking advantage of a senior.
