I am a special needs caretaker to an 8-year-old boy with autism spectrum disorder. I have been with the family for over a year now, which has given me excellent experience working with children (some of activities/responsibilities include: practicing focused attention exercises, painting/drawing activities, meal preparations, community engagement, running errands for the family, assisting with toilet training, traveling with the family for various events/vacations, motor skill and speech practice exercise). I am moving to Chicago in the beginning of September and I am looking to help out another loving and caring family!
