Hello, my name is Abbie! I am a very outgoing, adventurous, dog mom( for now), who loves hiking, kayaking, swimming, arts and crafts and sports. I have been a 1:1 paraprofessional for 2 years working with a 1st grader with selective mutism and ADD and this year with a 4th grader who has trauma and ADHD. Both years my students and I have been very active in a class room setting so I have been able to have the experience of being in a classroom with 18 kiddos. Over the summers I was a nanny for a girl who has autism. I currently work in Massachusetts but this June I am moving to Connecticut. I absolutely love kiddos! I grew up with a big family, I have 6 younger siblings AND my mom has always done foster care. I also have a nephew who is 1 years old who I have on the weekends. I have been babysitting kids ranging from 4 months to 14 years old. Working with kids, being able to make memories, and give them a fun summer while their parents are working is what I'm looking to do!
