I worked with an older lady who has Down syndrome for about 3 months until she left the company I was working for. My job was to be a positive influence on her and to take her to her daily activities. After her, I worked with a woman who had a speech impediment, and was in a wheel chair. I had to take her grocery shopping, errands, and sometimes much longer distances for different activities. I worked with her for about 7 months until she passed away from a severe asthma attack. Working with people who have special needs is something I'm very passionate about. I absolutely love people, and I love helping people in need. I actually worked with the woman who was handicapped for about 3 months before I was even hired on. And I still talk to the older lady with down syndrome. They still mean the world to me. I also take my job very seriously, and show the people I take care of the up most respect and love.
