Hello! I am currently studying mathematics at the University of Washington. I previously worked in the math center at Whatcom Community College for 1 year, tutoring math and computer science. After leaving WCC I tutored life skills kiddos in mathematics and quantitative reasoning for around 7 months. I am looking for new tutoring opportunities this summer, as I would love to share my passion for the quantitative sciences and help young people feel less anxious about these subjects. I see mathematics as a beautiful realm of thought; one that is inherently and unequivocally true, and while it can be challenging for people to grasp these concepts, I believe that every person is fully capable of understanding, appreciating, and even enjoying the study of math.
