About who needs care: My father is an invalid and needs full care. We use a Hoyer lift to transfer him. He is incontinent and most of the time he cannot tell if he's wet or dirty. He's either in bed, or his recliner or outside on the front porch. I just need assistance once or twice a week to bath him, feed him and light housekeeping. We have 3 dogs whom we love. I've had a very difficult time finding a competent help. I do have one lady who comes every Monday who we absolutely love we're looking to add another person to help give me a break. I am flexible on the days of the week except Monday since we have help. I would like someone to be able to come in at 11:00 and then maybe leave around 5:30 or 6:00. This is so he can get up someone can feed him and then they can feed him dinner and put him to bed. About the care needs: Low key and quiet. We need someone who will not fall asleep while caring for dad. This person needs to know how to use a Hoyer lift and can handle giving dad a sponge bath, getting him dressed and changing his diapers. This person would need to be able to handle light housekeeping and love animals.
