A single parent home with two children and our family cat. My daughter is 8 and my son is 3. They are very loving children who are easy going. We need a caregiver who is loving and attentive, as my children are still feeling the impact of my recent divorce. Because I work FT and want to spend as much time with my children as possible, our nanny will need to be willing to keep up with the home laundry, light housekeeping, and errands as needed. I would love for the children have had dinner and bath time completed by the time I arrive home. Because of extracurricular activities (reliable and safe transportation required), gas mileage will be paid for and I will also provide additional payment for oil changes for your vehicle every 3 months. About who needs care: She has become blind due to a previous underlying condition which is now diagnosed as Giant Cell Arteritis. Shes a lover of animals/plants and gardening/old westerns/ and movies. When she could see she would always read and do her crossword puzzles to keep her mind active. She also gets on her exercise bike to keep her active. She normally gets up between 9 and 11 and gets changed to eat breakfast and listens to the news or watches tv. She does have two cats that would need fed and watered sometimes also and they are her babies. About the care needs: Someone who likes to talk but also listen or be ok not talking all the time. Be able to take jokes and sarcasm because shes got a lot of that! Also be able to read to her and take their time with her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
