Exp. w/ managing/administering meds required as memory can be an issue. Our mother is mobile but she may need help getting out of chairs, bathtub, bed, etc.; once she gets vertical, she does pretty well with the aid of a Rollator. She needs a good bit of help with housekeeping and some assistance with ironing (min.), bathing, dressing, & some meal prep; she has bad shoulders which make some of these activities difficult. She needs a patient, caring, and compassionate companion who can also help keep her active and engaged. For now, we handle groceries, errands, transportation to/from appointments. We prefer a CPR / first-aid trained, non-smoking caregiver (our mother has asthma). We are looking at covering flexible daytime hours (around doctor's appts, Mon-Fri, & some wkds); if you have a preference for times to work, please let us know.

Looking for a full time caregiver to help with my grandmother during the week, M-F 9am-4 p.m. My grandmother has very bad osteoporosis and arthritis, so she moves very slowly and needs assistance with most ADL's. She gets a little confused at times and overwhelmed with new information. Patience is very important when helping her. She is able to use a walker but is mostly in a wheelchair during the day. She can stand and transfer from place to place. Light housekeeping, meal prep, helping take care of their dog, helping give her meds, running errands if needed and transportation to doctor's appts would be included in this job.
