Mills River Odd Jobs

I'm looking for the 'right fit' for my garden and property. I hope to hire someone who loves being outside in nature and enjoys maintaining lawns and helping plants thrive. I supply the lawnmower and all tools needed. This position is a long-term and weekly hours will vary. In Spring, Summer and early Fall, approximately 5 to 6 hours weekly. In Winter, approximately 8 hours a month. I'm flexible which days and prefer afternoons.

We are looking for a great nanny for 1 child in Mills River. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping, errands or grocery shopping and homework help. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is willing to drive children, who is comfortable with pets, who is CPR certified and who has college degree. Two other kids are in the home and they can also be of support but will be focused on their online school program as well. From time to time you may be needed to take the kids to after-school activities in the area. Clean safe driving record preferred.

I have a new project that needs typing assistance ASAP. You can work at home and need to have Microsoft word on your computer. It is particularly important that you would be able to work about 20 hours this week and that you have typing and Word experience. In the future, however, there will be more work and we could schedule in advance without such urgency as we have this week.

Transport 14-year-old from school to home or to activities. Light housework and healthy meal preparation for 3 people. Mills River area. Have one small dog who is very lovable. Should have reliable transportation and 5 years driving experience. Will pay mileage in addition to hourly rate.

I am in the end stages of writing a book and I'm seeking an experienced editor who is willing to work from their home to proof read and edit copy for about one month. This job would be perfect for someone who is a retired editor and looking to apply their skill and expertise towards completing a very interesting book. Hours are very flexible.

I'm planning a juice fast. I would like someone to assist me in staying on track with the protocol and schedule that I've developed. The candidate I'm looking for would have the following qualities: A strong, assertive, personality, detail-oriented, and able to do daily exercises and hikes. A separate apartment is provided on my property for the duration of the fast. Fasting experience is not necessary but could be quite helpful. I'm looking to have a longer fast in the near future and the weekend fast will be a helpful experiment.

Part Time Personal Assistant needed. I am seeking an assistant who can help me with an in home exercise 2 afternoons a week for approximately 2 hours each day. I prefer 1-3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays but can be flexible.

I'm looking for a person who is physically fit to help me with outside jobs, including lawn-mowing and weeding. There will also be an opportunity to assist me with additional outside tasks.
