One Time
Dad has CHF, is on O2 and has arthritis. Most, he requires drinks/food. Meals are light. Caregivers may spend most time in the living room watching TV (while Dad is upstairs - 5-6 steps - in his bedroom watching TV) awaiting his requests and checking in on him. Periodically, he needs light help dressing. Sometimes, not often, he needs an arm to get off the bed or toilet on weak days. An occasional food run or other errand run may be required, along with small laundry. I may not need help on the dates posted (TBD). If not, will likely need help in the future. His condition is progressive and my mother, his primary caregiver, is aging herself. May arrange 1-2 hour stop-ins by 1-2 caregivers instead of all day if ideal for all involved. This is new to us and we'll be working it out flexibly with the right caregivers and ongoing advice.
