Part Time
About who needs care: she suffers from mild dementia (memory issues) and bursitis in her hip.
She likes jigsaw puzzles, has difficulty with making healthy meals, only showers if you insist, and is lonely.
She is typically up by 7:30, makes and eats her breakfast; does the daily Sudoku and writes a running narrative of her day; works on the jigsaw puzzle or watches TV; enjoys the outdoors (not so much now because her hip hurts) and watching the squirrels and people; takes a nap if tired or bored; has lunch - would benefit from some assistance or she just makes a peanut butter sandwich; she used to do a lot of yard work or go for a walk, but because of her hip she no longer does - this is the time when she is most bored and lonely and would benefit from some companionship; then she often skips supper or has a very light meal (because she "doesn't like to eat a lot before bed"), and goes to bed around 6:30 p.m.
About the care needs: Trustworthy; good conversationalist; good listener; good with puzzles and can play card games like WAR, UNO, Phase 10; light housekeeping, easy meal prep, can give help showering (fall risk).
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
