I am looking for help for 5 weeks when my husband will be out of town. We have a 2. 5-year-old daughter and a 7-month-old son. She will be 3 in October and he will be 1 in august. I work full time. Some days I work 6-230 p.m. and some days I work 8-530 p.m. It varies week by week. I need someone around to help me with the kids, meals, grocery shopping, and light housework in the early morning and evenings. Please contact me if you have any questions or may be interested. About who needs care: My dad needs assistance with meal prep, drinking water & not so much sugar. He also desperately needs encouragement for showering. As his only daughter (husband and I lifted our lives out of San Jose last June to help my dad who's on his Alzheimer's journey. He is highly resistant to opening up to me - I think he doesn't want to see me worry. I have taken over all the finances, we do all the cooking. He still drives (no more than a few miles away), but we are coming close to the end of his license simply due to the fact that he has no memory retention.
