Because he is autistic, I would have to come with you. There may also be times, at first, times when he has some trouble cooperating, because changes to routine and new environments can be challenging for him. On every other Friday I would need someone to take me shopping, Dr appts and other errands before picking up my grandson. I am also pretty darned lonely; I literally have no friends or family around except my grandson. My daughter passed away 8 years ago.. so it would be really nice to have some company, to talk.
