WHO/WHAT: Busy and kind, professional parents are seeking a creative, culturally aware, and nurturing nanny for their 2 littles for a minimum of a year!
New baby and her older sister are looking forward to adding a nanny to their family; while big sis was in daycare previously --where she thrived!-- they would benefit from a creative nanny who looks for ways to bring arts and crafts into their home, patience, and consistency. As the baby continues to grow, the nanny would be active in engaging her with read-a-louds, age-appropriate play, and nap schedules. Meanwhile, the 2.5-year-old enjoys playing with dolls, baking in the kitchen, and walking to a beautiful park.
While both parents work full-time outside the home, they are very conscious of their social circles and are maintaining very limited contact outside of work. They ask for the nanny's assistance with loading/unloading the dishwasher, keeping the house/toys tidy, doing the kids' laundry, and easy meal prep. They value open and clear communication with their nanny and are hoping that she is punctual and flexible. They are hopeful that you would be willing to create safe social circles, as they are forming small pods with other safety-conscious families to enable their girls to socialize.
This family is taking the highest precautions regarding COVID, and they are asking that their nanny do the same. This means that you are actively social distancing and taking the necessary precautions that COVID-19 entails, like wearing a mask in public, avoiding unmasked contact with anyone outside your normal small social/familiar circles, washing your hands frequently, and using wisdom in your social outings.
THE IDEAL NANNY... Artsy, loving, and confident, you're the nanny who understands the changing emotions and wiles of a toddler and is totally capable of wrangling the strong-willed by seeking gentle and effective re-direction and guidance. You can effectively balance a toddler and an infant while maintaining patience, love, and structure. An added benefit would be if you loved different cultures/arts/music/dance, as this family thoroughly enjoys exploring the beautiful diversity all around us! You are a safe driver with your own vehicle and license. You are seeking a position for at least a year and are able to start by mid-August/early September.
