We have a 5-year-old daughter who loves playing pretend, playing Barbies, coloring, reading, and all things Frozen-related. Our son is 3 and loves space, playing pretend, and running, jumping, and playing outside. We have a fenced-in backyard with a swing set, flower garden, and sand box, so the kids love spending time out there. Both kids are high energy, as are most kids their age. Our daughter is more sociable while our son is more reserved around new people. We have general rules about how much TV time the kids have and not standing/climbing on the furniture. We have boundaries set but still understand we have littles who need to run, play, be loud, etc. We do expect them to use manners, especially at the table. We encourage them to ask to be excused from the table before getting up as well as say requests with a please and thank you. Additional needs include light housekeeping, having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker.
