I currently work in HR but I am looking for a career change. I'm fun and energetic. I love being active. I'm well organized and fast paced when I need to be. I have been a babysitter/nanny for multiple people throughout the years, as I have tons nieces and nephews as well. I love to cook and bake, and don't mind housekeeping duties. I also have a car for reliable transportation when needed. My son is my entire world so ideally I would love to be able to bring him with me and take care of your littles as well as if they were my own.

I have 20+ years combined experience working with young children. I have worked as a professional nanny, worked for a daycare center and in an elementary school setting as a special needs associate. I immensely enjoy caring for newborns and young children. Reading books, singing songs and introducing new, age-appropriate experiences are just part of the day to day care I provide. Children do best following an orderly routine and I prefer to follow parent's wishes in this area. Both the children and I will need plenty of outdoor playtime and exploration - going for walks, trips to the park and library for storytime will be regular, with parents' permission at all times. I am also happy to help out with light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as well as pet care & minor errands. I can assure families that your children will be engaged in fun learning activities while being cared for in a safe and loving manner.

My name is Beth and I am an Oregon State Graduate (2006) with a degree in child development. I have been a certified doula and have a ton of experience with children of all ages; twins, singles and siblings. I have an 18-month-old son! For the last 11 years I have been a nanny for an amazing family with two boys (11 and 8). I have made a difficult decision that the time has come for me to move on from being their full time Nanny! I am a now on the hunt for a new kiddo or two to take care of (along with my son) in my home, in Beaverton (Cooper Mountain). We are very active and enjoy doing many different activities, sometimes with other moms/nannies. The children's museum, omsi, music class, library time, zoo, play dates, art studios, etc are a few of our favorites. I was a Speech & Language Specialist & Teacher in the California school system for 25 years. My children don't have children yet, so I consider this work my fun Grandma Opportunity! Thru a large chunk of my adult life, I was juggling parenting, teaching, and being a perpetual student. I know the struggle. As I've matured it's simpler for me to relax and be present. The truth is I worked hard learning to relax :) I have also become better at playing as I've become older. I enjoy participating in nearly all indoor and outdoor sports, music -I play the flute, and a little piano, guitar and drums, hiking, camping, nature, dancing, gardening, cooking, baking, weaving... I engage in life. I appreciate and nurture the inquisitiveness and playfulness in children, as I too possess this.

Hi! I have work in a child care-giving situation for the last 15 years. This experienced has ranged from infants to school aged and from typical functioning children to those with special needs. I have a lot of training surrounding the RIE approach of care giving and working with children with behavioral challenges. I currently work with children experiencing mental health difficulties and post traumatic stress. I have focused a lot of my recent training around health and fitness for children. I have worked in childcare for 11 yrs. I have successfully been a teacher on up to a director in a center setting. We are relocating to the Georgetown, IN area for my husbands job. I wish to step outside of the childcare center setting to focus on my children and YOURS! I have four children of my own, 16, 14, 12, and 4 yrs old. I am first aid, communicable disease, child abuse, and CPR certified. I also have an Infant & Toddler CDA. I am passionate about children, I enjoy helping and watching them learn and grow and learning from them along the way!

After studying Human Development at WSU, I began my career working with young children. I have 20+ years of working as a nanny and in lead positions in early childhood schools. I have worked with all ages, though most of my experience is as an art studio and kindergarten prep teacher at NAEYC-accredited schools. I've also worked as a teacher trainer and parent educator, and I've designed art, science, and movement studios for childcare centers. These days, I homeschool my magical little ones (ages 3 and 7 years); I make and sell art, and I'm creating a social/emotional learning magazine for children. I would love to find a couple of regular babysitting positions with children who are similar in age to mine and who would welcome my children as playmates. I bring the equipment and materials to babysitting sessions for fun, imaginative, and creative play experiences. I'm like a portable children's museum!
