LDS Nanny For 2 Children In Alexandria, ...
We are looking for a woman who can help us raise our kids in a religious/ faith-filled environment. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS or Mormons). We would like to have a nanny who is the same faith as us, but are open to others are are very active in their church communities and living lives in accordance with their faith's teachings. We have a 2-year-old happy little boy. He has a calm temperament, can play alone, but loves to do social things. He especially loves reading (which we want to encourage), cars & trains, and being outside. Our 6-month-old little girl is the calmest and happiest baby I have ever seen. She is usually content just entertaining herself or watching her brother for long periods of time. We need someone at least 3 days a week 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., with the possibility of adding another day or two sometimes. It would be nice if you could occasionally travel with me for work (2-5 trips a year). Schedule is pretty flexible if you need to switch days or need to leave early sometimes. Live-in or -out. We have a separate, furnished 3 bedroom basement apartment. Two single women rent the other bedrooms. So there is a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom with them. The room won't be available until mid-January if you want it. Pay is flexible depending on experience, but looking to pay around $13-18/hour. We are in Alexandria, VA (between Old Town and Mt. Vernon), not far from the Parkway and lots of fun trails. We do have an extra car that can be used most of the time, but we prefer that you have a reliable, insured car in case both of our cars are needed. We are looking for someone who will take our kids to play groups and social activities almost daily and who can organize fun learning activities at home to help stimulate their growth and learning. We want someone who will do light housekeeping, namely, dishes, vacuum, sweep, kids' laundry, teaching kids to pick up after themselves, etc. We also want someone who can do some healthy, nutritious cooking at least twice a week. We will of course provide all of the food for the meals, and can provide meals/snacks for you too during the day. Occasionally, there will be errands that we'll need your help with - such as dropping off at metro, etc.

Mother's Helper In Lehi Must Start Decem...
Need a great mother's helper for 2 children! If you are available to start Dec 1st & available to interview this weekend please respond to this ad as well as email your resume Today! No applicants will be considered without their emailed resume. I am looking for an honest and fun woman to play with and help educate my 5-year-old and 7-year-old children. Qualifications: ~ High school graduate or higher ~ Speaks fluent English ~ Comfortable teaching Christian principles ~ Reliable vehicle that accommodates 2 children in back seat ~ Current driver's license Responsibilities: ~ Help my kids with their family chores ~ Make lunch and having my kids help with preparation or setting the table ~ Help with elementary schoolwork ~ Play games, doing art and crafts ~ Teach *short* elementary spiritual/ church lessons from an LDS/Mormon picture book or Sunday school manual ~ Help kids clean up after play ~ Keep kitchen and home in order ~ Run occasional errands to the store It sounds like a lot of responsibilities, but it really isn't since most of these things only take a few minutes. I really just want to make sure it's clear that you are really more of a mother's helper or estate manager for our family. My kids and you will still have plenty of time for free play and exploration. Transportation: Please have your own car. Part of your responsibilities will include running occasional errands and taking kids on outings. There are a couple times a week when I am doing video recording and need the house to be super quiet for an hour or two. These are a great time to take the kids out to explore! We have a park nearby, a library card, and a Thanksgiving Point membership you can use to entertain our kids. Hours: This job is 20 hours per week. The schedule is pretty consistent but there are a few days each month where it varies and you will receive more hours. Pay: Based on experience and may be up for reviews and raises to earn more. Pay day is on the 30th of each month. Apply: If you are qualified, interested, and available, please contact my assistant with your resume/references for a preliminary interview. Please include when are the best times to chat with you ASAP! I would prefer you have a business entity set up for me to pay you as a contractor. If you don't have one, just let me know and I can guide you in setting that up.
