Miss Emmy's Home Daycare

Thank you for inquiring on my Home Daycare. My program is very hands-on. I provide an almost home atmosphere, so your child will be comfortable and at ease in my care. I am laid back and always finding opportunities to teach the children something new.

I have availability starting the last week of June through Sept 1. Fairfax County has limitations to the number of children providers can have in their care, I am already full for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year. But please check back, availability could change at any time. I try to keep my profile updated as soon as I have an opening.

I am a mom of three boys, ages 21, 16, and 8. I am very passionate about being a mom. For years I worked in the financial world and missed out on so much with my older children. Now that I have a small child, it is so important to me that I be able to stay home and provide him with the best possible care available! I am very creative, kind, flexible, easygoing, down to earth, crafty and love to teach my children about the simple things in life. I am not looking to become a BIG family daycare with lots of kids, I prefer to stay small so I can continue to provide the best possible care available. I am excited to offer flexible hours for childcare and the best atmosphere available - a clean, loving, fun home!

We play outside whenever possible. We are also involved with a Pet Rescue group, I foster puppies until we are able to find a "furever" home. It's a great opportunity for the kiddos to learn about taking care of pets-we usually only foster small dogs or puppies.

My home is within walking distance to the local elementary school and I provide transportation service to and from school.

I also provide care on teacher workdays or student holidays for an additional charge.

I am registered with Fairfax County and do hold my Fairfax County Childcare Permit. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
