THIS WEEK:
This week we’re learning all about Cézanne, the french painter coined as “father of modern art”. With an emphasis on sensation rather than likeness, Cézanne bridged impressionism and cubism to influence a whole new era of art.

Students will implement bold color as they depict a still life of oranges. Exploring familiar techniques like form and pattern, we will expand the class's comprehension as our focus shifts from realism to expression, broadening the use of their artistic skills.

Dress for a mess!
