After taking care of my mother as she fought a tough and long battle with cancer I can truly appreciate the need to have someone you can trust to offer some help as well as a much needed break for the family! I believe the elderly of this generation are the last of one of the greatest eras in history and I enjoy spending time with them. I also have 4 years of housekeeping and property management experience. I raised 5 children of my own as well as had a career in the natural foods industry and now am focused on helping families and individuals with the challenges of caring for aging parents and loved ones. I have 4 years of paid (10 years volunteer) experience with individuals struggling with dementia, mobility and continence. I can assist with meal preparation, medication, household chores, Dr. appointments and errands. I have excellent references. I am a non-smoker and love pets!

I Am Looking For Part-time Or Full-time, Any Hours Of The Day And Week. 37 Years Experience.
Hello, Children are a blessing, I have 6 children of my own, 3 (teenagers) still at home, and 3 very successful out in the world, one worked for DOC, one with EZ Interface and another in the Military. I have home schooled for 22 years and counting with the youngest in 8th grade. I have worked for the Peninsula School District driving school bus for 3 years and have a clean background. I have worked with many children ages, behavior and situations while driving the bus and Nanning for other families. I have 30+ years of child care experience and references. I prefer part-time due to my morning family I already have, which has a rotating day schedule, time is always 7-11am, so after school or odd hours is best. Thank you, have a wonderful day and I hope you find what your family needs. Traci.

Compassionate, Experienced Caregiver With A Special Interest In Dementia Patients
I'm a registered with the State of Washington as an NAR and I've completed the CNA course, fundamentals of care giving. I have Nurse Delegation certificates that qualify me to administer medicines and to care for individuals with diabetes. I have quite a bit of experience, both as a paid and unpaid caregiver. While I was in college, I was a part-time respite caregiver. Later, I was one of the people providing personal care to my dad after he had a stroke. I did this for about seven years. I was a clerical worker in a hospital for 10 years and in 2011 made a career change to being a caregiver. I love working with my clients and enjoy connecting with families around the care of their elders. It's rewarding to know that what I do enhances an individual's quality of life. With just a little extra assistance, many seniors can maintain their independence and continue to do the activities they enjoy. I have a special interest in working with people that have dementia. I have the ability to enter into the affected person's vision of reality without trying to impose a different version that might "make more sense." My greatest satisfaction is when I can make life fun for a person whose condition can sometimes cause them to be frightened and confused. I have an ongoing commitment to learning about this condition and I am intent on the goal of accruing the interpersonal skills necessary in dealing with dementia patients. I love working with my clients and enjoy connecting with families around the care of their elders. It's rewarding to know that what I do enhances an individual's quality of life. With just a little extra assistance, many seniors can maintain their independence and continue to do the activities they enjoy.
