Looking after kids has always been my favorite type of work. The 6+ years I have spent as a nanny have made me a thoughtful and effective source of guidance and supervision for little ones (including ones that don't like to be called little!). It is very natural for me to fall into the role of a big sister and develop a close bond with the kids I look after. I have ample experience working with kids who may become easily frustrated or discouraged with schoolwork, and I have worked with kids who were especially challenged by traditional learning systems. Each family that I have worked for in the past has given me an opportunity to become an even better caregiver. With the experience I have now, I'm well versed in all sorts of problem solving and management. I'm very much looking forward to being a nanny again. :-)

Hands-on Learner And Helper!
Hello! I am a student at UVA planning to stay at home next semester instead of going back to college during covid. I take covid very seriously and looking to work a family who does too! I have the most experience working with children aged 3-6. I spent a summer working at a Learning Center where I supervised a classroom of approximately 15 students, aged 3-6 years, and helped support their learning. In addition to this I have experience tutoring middle and high school in Math, Science and English, and I am a part of a mentoring program for middle school girls! I can help with reading, writing, math and almost any schoolwork up to high school! I am also proficient in Spanish and can assist in Spanish learning as well. I would be happy to submit SAT scores and grades for more tutoring heavy jobs, as well as references for more care-heavy jobs!

Hi! I'm Katya, a 20-year-old college student, a junior at GWU with extensive experience with both babysitting and teaching! Last year, I worked as an elementary school teacher in Bologna, Italy teaching children aged 4-13 English, Math and Science. In addition, I have been regularly babysitting 3 kids from the ages of 6-10 weekly for 2 years and pride myself on being great with kids! I would love to help out your little one and have a flexible schedule. I would be happy to do a zoom meeting beforehand so you can meet me and see if I would be a good fit for your child's needs.
