Educational Consultant/Childcare Professional W/ M.A. In Elem. Ed, & And A Genuine Love Of Children!
Former teacher, working in childcare and education for the past 10 years looking to return to private childcare. I attended West Chester University to pursue an interest in teaching I received my MA in Elementary Education and have worked as not only a teacher but a professional nanny for three children under the age of 5 for 3 years and have most recently served for 6 years as a Director of a k-12 tutoring and test prep center, Sadly, the business was sold by the owner so I am using this chance to return again to childcare - preferably in a nanny or consistent babysitter role - as I understand from my studies in Child Development that children are impressionable at a very early age and consistent care can truly foster healthy and age appropriate development. In addition, I am yearning to working with children on a smaller scale and getting to know the little amazing humans that they are! Accustomed to household duties, meal prep, laundry, etc.!

Kind, Creative, Caring Fun!
For the past 3 years I have had the privilege of working for the Jennersville YMCA child care programs. This includes the School Age After school child care program, where I have learned to become and be a mentor to hundreds of wonderful children grades k-6. In addition, over the past summer, I have worked as a lead camp counselor for the YMCA's Y Camp 2018. I also consider myself an avid member of my community. For the past six years, I have been actively involved in different volunteer organizations. The main organization I have worked with is the Wawa Foundation. Throughout my time with the Wawa Foundation, I have volunteered for; six Philly Mother's day walk/run catering events, five "Operation Brotherly love" events, three park clean-ups, six "Wawa Welcome America" parades, and four Autism walk/run hosting. I have also been involved with the Girl Scouts of America for the past nine years, receiving my bronze award.
