Fun & Responsible Sitter Ready To Help Out At Home
Hello! I'm looking for the opportunity to work with some great families and ready to help out at your home in this time of 'new normal.' I bring an enthusiastic and creative energy to my work in addition to more than five years' experience caring for children and people with disabilities. I look to create meaningful relationships and positive connections with the families I work for, some of which have continued long after I stopped working for them. I enjoy engaging and educational activities, and safety is always my first priority (CPR and First Aid certified). If you're looking for someone to play and teach with your kids, then I'd love to hear from you!

Hi, my name is Taryn and I have been caring for individuals for over 20 years. I have experience caring for senior citizens so that they may maintain their independence as much as possible, while staying in their homes. I offer a variety of services which include: personal care, meal preparation, light house keeping, medication reminders, errands, and companionship. I am a fitness instructor, energetic, efficient, and friendly. I love to work in this field so that I can make a difference in another person's life.

Efficient And Honest
I come from a large family so I am used to pitching in around the house to get things done. I have been running my own household for over 30 years. I have lived life and am used to making things happen. I will be happy to help you get things done in a professional and efficient manner and with a smile. Background on me - I raised 3 boys - 2 are in college and one is in middle school. I retired after 25 years with the State of Maryland and had started a new career only to be laid off due to COVID. I find myself looking for another new career so I am trying to find somehting that is hopefully more quarentine proof. I'm not looking to make a million dollars but I am offering you a professional attitude, someone who "gets" kids of all ages and "gets" parents. I will make efforts to find activities the kids will engage in, crafts if possible , outdoor play, encourage homework and always grab the teachable moments. I am laid back but with boundaries.

Our children love attention and can do almost anything to get more attention then the others. Like most kids, ours doesn't like the word "NO", but you MUST use the word when necessary. We do have rules that must be followed and our children may try to bend them. Children will be children but to protect them now and for their future we must provide love for them in many ways. For example: being stern, time outs, serious talks, and may lead to a punishing ( of which you as the sitter will NOT be required to do). Our work schedule may vary week to week. Thursdays and Fridays is a must. Monday thru Wednesday depends on peak for business. A date once a blue moon may be asked of outside of working schedule. We would like to hire someone for long term. Keep in mind 1 and possible 2 out our 3 kids may need to get on the bus once school starts back
