We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is comfortable with pets, who is CPR certified and who has college degree.
Looking for a sitter for our 20-month-old boy for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (approximately 2:30 - 5:30p) and date nights. (Would also be interested in Mon, Tues, or Fri mornings from 9-11am). The Nursery Attendant is responsible for: - Providing age-appropriate care which includes feeding, changing diapers, escorting to the bathroom, maintaining a safe environment, putting children down for naps, holding, or sitting with and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, and play. - Being polite, friendly, and courteous to all children, parents, and volunteers. - Opening the nursery by 9 a.m. every Sunday morning (the Attendant is expected to work all Sundays even if it falls on a holiday). - Communicating sick policy to parents as needed (no child with fever, cough, rash, infection, or pink eye (conjunctivitis) will be allowed to use the nursery facility). A sanitizing solution will be available to use in the nursery.) - In the event of an emergency or child illness, notifying the parent(s) via cell phone. - Participating in an evaluation after a 90-day probationary period and thereafter annually. - Reporting to the staff parish relations team liaison any issues which are hindering the ability to perform duties or responsibilities. - Communicating in advance, by phone, email, or text to the staff parish relations team liaison: any planned absences with an advance two-week notice, or any unplanned absences at least two hours prior to the shift.
