Nurturing And Loving Caregiver
For the past two years I have been teaching high school mathematics, but my love for the little ones doesn't go unnoticed. Growing up, I had many younger cousins and began babysitting at the age of 13. Throughout my four years of college I cared for three children part-time, ages 0-7. Our activities included: driving, cooking/feeding, playing, swimming, homework, you name it! In addition, I worked at a daycare part-time throughout my internship at Seton Hall. My skills and experience with children is apart of who I am! I always have their best interest at heart, while keeping them happy and healthy.

Caring And Intentional Sitter
Hi! My name is Jasmine, I moved to Hoboken in October. I am 25 years old and LOVE children. I love working with children so much that it is my career. I taught Kindergarten this academic year and am so excited to begin teaching 1st grade in the fall! I enjoy teaching all subjects but my favorites are literacy and social-emotional development. A lot of learning comes through observation and modeling behaviors from adults. I take pride in being intentional and empathetic with all of my interactions with children. I enjoy spending time with nature and learning from the natural world around us!

We're seeking an experienced child caretaker weekdays 1-6 p.m. while my wife and I WFH. We have 3 children (5. 5, 4, and 15 mo). Responsibilities include mainly taking care of the toddler (feeding, changing, playing, walks, etc.), and helping with the other children as needed. One parent will be available to help care for the oldest siblings. When time allows, responsibilities may also include doing children's laundry, prepping snacks, and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate is energetic, enjoys spending time with children, likes coming up with creative activities, and patient. If all works out, we will need weekend help as well. For health safety, the caregiver must present a negative COVID-19 test taken just prior to start and consistently adhere to social distancing guidelines, including outside of work. Russian speaker is a plus.

We are lucky that P is a pretty easy to read baby- very attentive and likes to be read to, use his contrast cards and tummy time. He's just started to roll over to get out of tummy time. He lets you know when he needs something; very distinct cries for either sleep or to be fed. Our ideal caregiver: We are first time parents looking for short term child care as our family leave ends and we both return to work. We will both be working from home at least part time, but need someone to help with our newborn son, P who turns 4 months next week. Looking for someone who is responsible and experienced, will engage in his developmental play and take our lead in caring for him; though we are open to ideas and recommendations! Additional needs include light housekeeping and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my infant son. Flexible start date. My schedule may vary.
