I Am Currently A Student And Studying Child Development. I Am Known To Be A Safe And Fun Sitter.
I have had multiple experiences with taking care of children. My previous experiences have been babysitting, child watch at the Downtown YMCA, and practicums for school. I currently lifeguard and have came across communicating with and helping all sorts of children. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. When babysitting back home, I took care of kids from a year old to 13 years old. I was previously in Elementary and Special Education before switching to Family Science. I had experience with a first grade classroom. During that time I also did child watch at the Downtown YMCA. I provided care for the kids while the parents went to work out. I have also been life guarding for three years. Within these experiences I have become confident with taking care of kids and making sure they are safe but still having fun. Being a student at UNL has also helped me to learn theories and methods for taking care of children. I make sure to be responsible at all times when caring for a person's child.
