I've been working with children since High School, and I am currently a junior in college getting a unified early childhood degree, which is regular and special education from birth to 3rd grade. I love children and enjoy being with them. I've been working at a daycare for 3 years now and believe in an inclusive and welcoming environment for all children. I am also covid vaccinated with my booster and have my flu shot!

I love childcare because children are our future and setting them up for success in every way is a passion I've always had! I'm looking for a job that has the ability to be long term and to find a family who is as fun and active as my own, one where everyday we can find a new adventure! I started working with kids when I was very young when my family opened a home childcare. My first job in childcare was at 17and since then I have worked in a few different different centers of all shapes and sizes in multiple different roles. In my spare time, I like to spend as much time in state parks as possible! I love camping, hiking and nature photography! One thing you should know about me is I have done multiple trainings on childhood psychology and behavior and pride myself on my ability to defuse tantrums and teach children self regulation/ problem solving My skills include cooking healthy and fun meals, keeping children engaged and encouraging self regulation.

I have 7+ years of experience with senior care. I have worked in memory care units, assisted livings and group homes. I have 5+ years of experience with developmentally disabled individuals, young and old. I love getting to know the individuals I work with. Hearing their stories is inspiring. I am currently in a nursing program so I am learning new skills everyday.

I am a student midwife looking for support of some responsible individuals who can be on-call for childcare needs weekday days 8am-4 p.m. in the event that I get called to a birth. Ideally, I would have 2-3 individuals who I would have available as my on-call person at scheduled times throughout the week. I am currently with a low volume practice that does about two births a month, so I don't actually get called often. If this is of interest to you or if you have questions, please reach out! About us: We are a family of four (1 yo boy and 4 yo girl). We have a small, well behaved, hypo-allergenic dog. Our kiddos are super smart, happy, and fun. We are a relaxed family looking for an engaged care provider who will feed the kids a decent lunch and encourage them to play with toys and not have too much screen time.
