My name is Kaitlynn. My family is originally from Minnesota, but I grew up in Illinois. My parents just moved back to Minnesota this past summer so we now have a home here. I am a 2nd year student-athlete at Seattle University. I have many younger cousins - ages 1-8 - who I often take care of when I come home for breaks. I have experience with newborns and children of all ages! I love kids and would love to help you out when you need a hand. Responsibilities include arriving around 6:30, help yourself to coffee Wake up the kids around 7:15, help them get dressed and ready for the day. They need a school snack, water bottle, weather appropriate attire, and mask for the bus. My kids are 7 & 9 so they are quite independent and responsible, but need guidance and reminding of the time. Kids eat a quick morning snack before the bus which arrives around 8:25 a.m. There are a lot of bus cancellations due to staffing, MAY require to drive children to school if bus is cancelled Looking for 2-4 days per week M-F varying days, will have schedule one month ahead of time. We need hands-on care to take care of my grandfather in Andover. Looking for a person who can commit to 1-2 weekends every month. Experience in Parkinson's would be ideal, but is not required. Hands on care would include help with toileting, dressing, showers (walk in shower with handheld sprayer), preparing some meals (not frequently), light transferring from chairs to standing position. He is pretty independent in navigating his walker, but needs someone nearby for support - just in case. Medications are typically administered by a family member. . Some light tidying up and laundry is involved. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction, along with keeping physically active. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
