Awesome Senior Caregiver
Hello my name is Rachel.. I have recently moved to Sterling Heights from Armada where I was born and raised.. I did dementia home care for this amazing couple for 2 years as of recently.. I formed a bond with them and treated them as I did my own grandparents whom I loved dearly.. I loved sitting down with them and talking with them as they taught me as much as I taught them.. My duties included toileting, bathing/grooming, medication management, meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping.. Also any errands they needed.. I am hardworking, have a wonderful sense of humor, dedicated, reliable and trustworthy.. I have excellent references and can provide letters from past clients.. I can assure you that your loved ones will be taken care of completely and safely as I know that can be worrisome.. I look forward to meeting with you.. Thank you.. Have CPR and first aid experience... I can also provide diabetic care and read blood pressures..

I Am A Preschool Teacher And College Student Earning My Bachelors In Psychology.
I'd describe my personality as empathetic, bubbly, outgoing! I like working with kids because as corny as it may sound they are the future and I believe having positive influences makes all the difference! I love watching kids learn and discover new things and creating new projects for them to do! In my spare time, I like to read, paint, walk my dogs, and cook!

We need hands-on care to take care of my father in Sterling Heights. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. My dad lives in an Independent living facility. He does early stage of Parkinson's disease, but really just has hand tremors from that. He does get up at night and wander sometimes if left unattended, but will go right back to bed with assistance. He does walk with a walker, but his knees always aren't strong, so we do use a wheelchair for him as well. We really just need someone to watch him and then take him down to the dining room for his meals, and also give him his pills. At night, we need someone to just sit and make sure he stays in bed and doesn't get up and wander. He is totally with it, mind wise and really likes to sit and watch TV and hang out. Please contact me if interested. Thank you!
