Hello there! I have worked in a daycare setting for the last two years, gaining experience and skills needed to work with children. I love teaching young kids life skills and believe play is the best way to do that! From dramatic play to arts and crafts, I love engaging kids in activities. Their learning, care, and safety are my number one priorities.

Hi! My name is Shelby and I am a current junior at Morehead State University. I love children and being around them. I have taken many classes regarding childcare and child development, and plan on specializing in pediatrics when I attend Occupational Therapy school. I have nannied and babysat for many families, ages 0-15. I have also volunteered at camp for children who face life-threatening and chronic illnesses. Caring for children is my passion! I am certified in First Aid/CPR and have background in health and safety.

I am a teacher and my husband is a UPS driver; we have two sons age 3. 5 and 1. 5. We need a reliable babysitter for both of them for 2 weeks (the oldest will start at my preschool in September) and the remainder of the school year will just be for the youngest. It is possible that school will be shut down again not long after reopening due to the pandemic... If this happens to be the case, a babysitter would no longer be needed as I would be home. Schedule is mostly consistent but there will be occasional days where my mother can babysit (a weeks notice would be given). Additional needs include light housekeeping, meal prep, having a reliable car and a non-smoker.
