Caregivers who recently joined:
I moved to California from Egypt when I was 14 years old, graduated with honors, then went to California State University Fullerton and also graduated with 3. 8 GPA with a Bachelors degree in Health Science. Then I started becoming more and more interested in the human body, specifically the heart, so I attended an ultrasound school and earned an associates degree in cardiovascular studies. I worked under a cardiologist supervision for the last 4 years. Recently, about 5 months ago, my husband and I moved to Boise, and I stopped working since then. During the years I worked as a cardiovascular tech, I was more specifically working with pediatric department which allowed me to work more with newborns. I fell in love with working with babies and now feel even more experienced and skilled to take care of them.

Ever since I can remember I have been helping take care of my younger brother and my two younger cousins. From ages 10 to 14 I volunteered at the Learning Tree and later Eagles Creative Learning Center, helping with many activities from arts and crafts to nap time and even swim lessons. Along with these preschool setting experiences I have also been babysitting for about 4 years, and recently nannied for a family of three (ages 7, 11, and 13). I have experience with many different age groups, the youngest being 6 months old and the oldest being 13.

I am a freshman Nursing major at Idaho State University that will be spending my summer in Boise. I spent three years working at Dream Land Education Center in Meridian taking care of children aging from two-months to 12 years of age, preparing snacks, and cleaning the facility. I had a background check in order to obtain this job, and also had to be C. P. R. certified. Throughout high school I consistently babysat for 8+ families. I am very active and spend much of my time outdoors playing soccer, biking, rollerblading, skiing, backpacking, and boating. As a caregiver I love playing sports, creating activities/crafts, playing games, and ultimately being very involved.
