Responsibilities would entail giving lunch breaks, helping prepare curriculum, changing diapers, helping with potty training, and caring for some remarkable children! Candidate must be somewhat flexible and be able to step in and substitute for Lead Teachers as needed in their absence. If you have been employed over a year in another childcare facility, you must have your DCF required 40 hours of training before you can apply. If you have not been employed in a childcare facility before, you must be willing to complete the required DCF 40 hours worth of training and testing within your 1st year anniversary of employment at a childcare center. CDA preferred, but not required. Our facility first and foremost strives to introduce the teachings of Jesus and the love of God to each child, along with teaching a more traditional curriculum pulling from ELLM, Creative Learning, and WEE. This position starts as a temporary, part-time position and has the ability to become permanent upon 6 month review.
