Caregivers who recently joined:
Hello! I am a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut with my masters degree in Special Education. I am certified to teach grades K-12 and will begin my first teaching position in the fall. As the second oldest of 8 kids, I have many years caring for children of all ages. In addition to babysitting for other families since the age of 12, I have several years of experience working with kids in the classroom. I enjoy being around children and am passionate about what I do as a teacher. Because I am beginning a full-time teaching position in the fall, I am only available for summertime work. However I may be able to continue as an occasional sitter for date nights or weekends throughout the year. I am flexible, reliable, and hardworking, and excited to build relationships with children.

Silja F. In Burlington
Hi! I have had experience babysitting for over 8 years, caring for children ages 1-10. Additionally, I acted as the Art Director and a counselor for a day camp for kids aged 4-14 for a year, and I have experience working with kids in sports as a referee for youth soccer&basketball for 5 years. For two summers, I volunteered with an elementary-aged special needs summer school. I love working with and hanging out with kids, and I'm also willing to help out with other household tasks. I am a college student in CT but I'm around Burlington VT just to enjoy the area and work on my art for the summer. In my free time I love reading, playing soccer, running, and hiking! I am hoping to help out any families in need of nannying, babysitting, or tutoring! Thanks :)
