Down To Earth Nanny, New To LA
I've spent just under a year as a nanny for a lovely family in Dallas, TX; while relocating to Los Angeles means I'll be leaving them, I'm excited for the new beginnings this chapter holds! My duties in TX included running general errands for the family, grocery shopping, dry cleaning, cooking, general housekeeping, etc. In addition to keeping up with the needs of the family and household, I also took care of their medium sized dog. Additionally I took on live-in house watching duties and pet care spanning 2+ weeks of the family's vacation. I was particularly grateful for the bond formed through care taking with the children in the household. Preparing for school, cooking meals, and having fun in and out of the house during the summer were a few of the activities involved in childcare. Working with this family showed me how much I enjoy being a part of the household and assisting loving families in any way possible.

We are visiting LA for two nights from New York, and are looking for a babysitter for our 2 children in Hollywood. Our son is almost 4, and our daughter is almost 2. It will be to watch them in a hotel so we can enjoy two evenings out. They are very good kids, easy and comfortable with new people watching them. Would like someone with experience with younger kids - and being able to settle and get them to sleep !

Hello! I write from home and need someone to watch my sweet 1-yr-old while I work. I will be home while you watch her for the most part and definitely for at least the first 2 weeks or so - this is for your ease, primarily. She is very attached to me and cries when I leave the room, though this is getting better. We also have a medium size dog, though she's pretty chill and lazy. The ideal candidate likes to play on the floor, loves the song Wheels on the Bus and will sing it until your eyes glaze over (I kid!), is willing to walk our cruising little girl around the apartment for a seeming endless amount of time ;) and can pull her off of me when she starts trying to crawl up my leg! For right now, it'll just be 3 hours in the morning. She normally naps from 12:30-2ish, so 12:30 would be the "end" of the day. Thanks for reading!
