Patient Sitter And Child Development Enthusiast
Hello! I am currently a caregiver for the elder and disabled at the moment and wanting to expand my reach to younger children! I am studying Early Childhood/Special Education at Brigham Young University and would love to get a job in this field. I have experience working with children of all ages from newborns to pre-teens and I love interacting with and teaching them.

Taught Toddlers Through Adults
I'm an educator who has taught in non-traditional classrooms (zoos) and traditional. I had my own 1st grade classroom, taught zoo school for toddlers - 5th grade, and wrote curricula and taught courses for adult docents and employees at zoos. When needs for our family changed, I started substituting consistently at a private school K-12 ( I feel comfortable teaching math through Algebra). I also substituted while obtaining my teaching certification. While my teaching certificate has expired (it was TX, grades 1-6), I feel substituting kept my teaching skills sharp. I also served on the Education Committee of the private school where I was a substitute teacher, and recently served on the Curriculum Committee for my son's school as they prepared for accreditation. The needs of my family have changed again, so I am now exploring tutoring. I look forward to helping your child become successful and gain confidence in the subject(s) with which he/she may need some extra help.

New jobs posted by families:

I am looking for a part-time nanny/baby-sitter who HAS experience with new born and are willing to follow a strict schedule due to the fact my daughter was born pre-maturely. I am looking for someone who is able to come to my home and hours may vary. I need someone Tuesdays from 9-2 and Wednesdays 10-3 but willing to stay longer if needed or come earlier if need be(schedule may vary by week). I am looking for someone I can utilize on additional days for myself whether it be for date nights or to run errands (Night or day time). I am a single mom who lives currently with her parents so I may not be able to compete with some rates people are willing to pay, as I am doing that on my own. I want someone who is passionate and loving towards my baby as a family member. If interested please let me know and I will give further detail. Thank you!

Provide general supervision of 7-year-old and 10-year-old, play board or table games with them, read stories to them, supervise clean up of toys before dinner, fold up clean laundry. 7-year-old has ADHD and 10-year-old has high functioning autism. They both need supervision on Wednesday 3 p.m. to 7 pm, however, I am here also, I just start to wear down in late afternoon and they need entertainment, fun interactions and an after-school snack when they get home from school. On Fridays, the 7-year-old is here from 10 a.m. to 2pm, while I take her brother for his academic instruction and social skills instruction at his school. They both attend a public school, so they are home schooled 3 days a week and on campus 2 days a week.
