After 20 years of caregiving experience, I have had a wide variety of clients having Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, Advanced Alzheimer's, dementia, thyroid cancer, ischemic colitus and several other conditions. Each client was specifically cared for giving each special treatment based on their individual needs. Communication with my clients or their family members is an essential part of my position, as I consider knowing their needs an integral part of my caregiver relationship. Duties included everything from companion care to colostomy bag care, as well as meal prep, meds, appointments. Periodically, my schedule would require 24/7, weekends or extended stays. A positive and warm personality is part of who I am, as well as being pleasant and happy. All my clients would agree that I always see the brighter side of life. References supplied on request.

Compassionate Flexible Family Assistant
Hello! I am Natalie. I am a compassionate and empathic person, who enjoys caretaking and nurturing kids and their families. I recently ended 2 years working with a family of 10, doing lots of laundry, light housekeeping, childcare, tutoring, errands/personal assistant work. I'd love to find another family to bond with! I have a Liberal Studies BA from CSUCI, with an emphasis in Education. I have many Early Childhood Education credits, and have worked in county after school programs, preschools, and as an aid for children & teens who are neurodiverse. I spent several years working with individuals with cognitive disabilities & autism, specializing in social skills/family adaptions. I provided respite care to some of these families as well. I have personal experience with mental illness in my family, and have volunteered for 7+ years with NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness). I love organizing & setting up systems that work for clients.

I need a sitter for one day a week, every Tuesday, from 7a - 5p, starting March 23. I travel this day for work. We have a 20month old boy, loves to play outside and read stories. Naps for two hours during the day. Will need to make lunch and give him snacks; I'll provide all the food and instructions. Easy peasy. Must be comfortable with a dog. She's 12, sleeps all day. Barks to alert when someone at door etc. She's a good girl. Won't have to worry about cleaning up after her. I'm offering $13/hour. Please don't apply if you are unwilling to accept this amount. This is all I can afford at this time. I do provide a $500 year end bonus at Thanksgiving and can give a written agreement for those who require.
