I have been a reliable babysitter for more than a decade. My friends and family have relied on my service because taking care of children comes naturally to me. My friendly but assertive nature have been a help to teach kids about good and bad. I like to engage kids in many activities throughout the day for them to learn vital skills and behavior. I love spending time with children, and I do my best to make our time fun, healthy and educational.

A Little Bit About Me.
Hello! My name is Abby and I've been working with kids of all ages for about 5 years now. I started babysitting when I was 15 and did that on and off for many years. After that for my high school community service hours I volunteered with the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center's special needs swim team, The Rays. I was working with them for about a year before I applied for a job as a swim instructor for the RBAC. While working as a swim instructor for 2 years I also attended Pasadena City College to work towards getting a teaching degree so I can become a elementary or middle school educator. Deciding to take a break from college, I worked for a private swim instructing company, Aqua Buddies, where I taught children ages 3-15 how to swim in the comfort of their own homes. Now, moving on to the next chapter in my life. Please don't hesitate to contact me, my schedule is wide open for any day or night. :)

Hi, I'm Katherine! I just graduated from Gonzaga University this May with a double major in Psychology and Religious Studies. I recently moved back to the Pasadena area and will begin graduate school for Marriage and Family Therapy this Fall. I have experience babysitting, volunteering with kids, and this summer I worked as a Senior Counselor at Camp Adventurewood where I was in charge of 11 kids for five weeks. I enjoy getting to know not only the children that I watch, but their families as well. When I nanny, I plan fun activities that keep the kids active and engaged. I strive to customize my care for each child and incorporate their interests into the time we spend together. Additionally, my psychology degree has provided me with valuable child development knowledge that helps me understand and communicate with the children I watch. Please let me know if you would like to meet me or if you have any questions!
