Passionate Tutor, Specializing In English
I'm Katherine. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Washington with a major in English and a minor in French. I am extremely passionate about the subjects I am studying and would love to share that joy with others. As such, I offer a hands-on learning environment to help students not only understand, but excel in their language classes. As a student, I believe I offer additional perspective to tutoring. Though I do well in school, I was never the type of student to naturally do well in a classroom environment. I had to develop study skills over time; often times I needed tutors. From my experiences being tutored, I have found a variety of tutoring strategies that worked well for me, which I can replicate for my students. Feel free to contact me to schedule lessons or if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Motivating Tutor With Fun And Great Results!
I am a college student who has worked with kids in kindergarten through high school to achieve better grades and understanding! I have taught English to Spanish speakers (kindergarten through high schoolers), been a high school Spanish tutor, and been a high school writing tutor. My experience has given great results, but I truly believe the most important part is helping your child to develop the skills that will help them be successful and feel confident in their abilities! Establishing skills and discipline that can be translated into any part of life is always my goal. I adore working with kids and am good at keeping them focused while having enough fun to make the work not feel like work! During this time I know school can be very stressful (I too am a student in college!) and so I hope I can help provide the extra support that your child needs. My specialties are in Spanish, writing and history, though I pick up other subjects very easily, should you need assistance there aswell.

I am looking for a tutor for my 12-year-old in Middle school. She needs help completing homework, but as well as help in Math, history, and science. Flexible start date. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Time: 4:00pm-5/5:30pm
time Part Time
Starts 01/11
Transportation Required
We are looking for a nanny/teacher to come join our family until next school year. Hours vary, but we are needing someone who can work between 15-25 hrs./wk. Thus, we need someone who is willing to be flexible with hours. We typically need someone Wed-Fri. the work day usually starts in the early afternoon until early evening; with occasional date night and other days of the week. We are doing traditional homeschooling and would love to find someone with experience as an early educator/teacher or has worked with facilitating school work as this will be part of the daily routine. Ability to pass a background check, have CPR/first aid certification is a must; and although not a disqualification, if you speak Spanish this would be a bonus, as these children are bilingual.
