I am a mountain girl and have been living in Mammoth for the past 4 winter seasons working as a snowboard instructor and freestyle coach. In total I have spent the last 10 years working with children as a snowboard instructor and absolutely love it! As an instructor, I teach students ages 3+ and often manage large classes sizes for a 6 hour day including lunch and snack breaks. I am a fun, patient, and outgoing person familiar with all age ranges of children. I have my own vehicle, love being outdoors, and have a flexible schedule. I also love pets!

Smiles :)
I have cared for younger siblings for about 10 years total. I'm 27 now but I have plenty of experience supervising children. Good thing is that I enjoy what I do and that I know how to have a good time with the resources that I'm provided with.

Kid And Pet Whisperer, Part-Time And/or Temporary
I am an outdoor educator and Wilderness First Responder who has been teaching science, adventure and team building to kiddos of all ages for many years. I love to engage kids in exploration, movement, reading, music, and educational crafts and games. Outdoor adventuring is my absolute favorite because that's where all those frogs and lizards are just waiting to be best friends! I have lots of personal experience helping friends and family, and most recently I worked as a live-in doula for a newborn infant, helping her first-time parents learn how to bond with her and adjust to life with baby. I grew up working in my church nursery and babysitting cousins and family friends. Since my relocation to Mammoth Lakes, I've been volunteering at the Whitmore Animal Shelter and will be volunteering for Wildcare when the season picks back up. Animals in the wild seem to find me and I take pleasure in helping those in distress. I've also hung out with lots of domestic animals.

I'm looking for some help with our twin boys, age 2- 2 days a week. They could be Monday or Tuesday or Thursday or Friday. I'm flexible. I need help from 10 ish - 2ish. I can be a little flexible on time if needed. Must be comfortable with pets. Lunch preparation would be ideal (mac n cheese, pbj, cut cucumbers, re-heat pasta, re-heat leftover dinners for lunch etc). It would be great if you would read to them, color or play with them as well. Our boys are happy, curious and active 2-year-olds. They love to dance, talk and play. They will melt your heart.
