Retired Teacher!
I chose to be a classroom teacher because I love kids! I love watching for those teachable moments and jumping in. I am very energetic and also extraordinarily aware of the importance of seizing opportunities to give small children the tools they need to excel in the classroom. It's fun for me, and I am very, very good at it! Since retiring from the classroom, I have subbed and worked in summer and after school programs aimed at giving children a leg up. And I have had the fabulous opportunity to play a major role in caring for three wonderful grandchildren who happily live nearby. Now that they are off and running I would like to turn my attention to a child whose time I can enhance with my skills and with my enthusiasm!

15+ Years Experienced Educator/nanny
Hi I am a Child Care provider with over 15 years of experience. I have taught preschool for over 10 years and Kindergarten and first grade at Marin County Day School, as well as nanny children from infancy through elementary. I love to explore, go on child-centered adventures and create, while providing the utmost safe and nurturing environment. I too am a mama and I understand the challenges of finding a safe, reliable and comfortable match for your family. I recently stepped out of the classroom to be with my daughter (19 months). So if you're looking for a provider who is in "mom mode" who completely "gets it" while offering the comfort and nurturing atmosphere for your little one, please reach out I look forward to hearing from you.
