Active Sitter And Tutor!
Hi! My name is Madelynn and I just graduated from UC Berkeley. As the oldest of 4, I have had experience as an unofficial sitter almost all my life. Additionally, I have babysat a wide range of ages from 3-17. I am an active sitter: normally I minimize TV and video games, and interact with the children more. I am extremely observant and have your child's safety as my number 1 priority. On another note, as a graduate from Cal in Bioengineering, I have a great base in science and math tutoring. I am excited to meet you and your child!

Wee Gardeners is located in Carmel Mid Valley; we are looking for 1 full time and possibly 1-2 part time childcare professionals. Start date ASAP. I am looking for a responsible, dependable and loving soul to come be with the Wee ones in our care while I do the cooking, cleaning and admin. The position requires a great deal of bending and lifting, carrying little ones, changing diapers, consoling with little owies and helping prevent big ones. I am looking for someone with experience either in a childcare center or home daycare, who can keep a level head and knows the ins and outs of managing 4-8 little ones of varied ages at any time. I need someone who is a creative problem solver and can outwit a 2 yr old, while wrangling a 3 yr old, and still think straight with a screaming 8 mo old. Someone who can keep some sense of order and discipline while helping teach the littles manners and sharing and caring. Preferably amidst all of this, we are doing fun activities of sorts, art, reading, music, gardening, etc. A little about us: Mom, son (3), and very friendly dog (5), in a big house with a big big yard and lots and lots of toys! I (Mom) left my previous profession and decided to open this daycare because our last daycare closed. There were no other reasonable options in the area available for us and our needs, so I opened my own. I had always wanted to be home more with my son and be more present while he is little, and I love kids, so this gives me the opportunity to be home with him and provide other families with loving care while they are out doing what they need to do. I went through all the steps to become licensed, I do not however have specific training or experience in early childhood development/ education. I am a loving mother of 1 and am looking for someone with experience to help care for the multiple wonderful little souls in our home.
